🔥 Our Hot tip

QPR to win

QPR have won three league matches in a row coming into this match, while Hull have one home win since September.

Last time Hull met QPR, both were struggling in the relegation zone. Fast forward a few months, and QPR are one of the Championship's form sides, while Hull continue to struggle. Read on for our Hull vs QPR predictions and more.

Hull vs QPR prediction: QPR to enact revenge on the road

Key stats

  • Only two sides have picked up more points than QPR in the last five Championship matches.
  • QPR have only lost one match in the league since 23 November.
  • Hull have the worst home record in the league, with just two wins in 14 games.

Correct score prediction: Hull 1-2 QPR

Hull ran out comfortable 3-1 winners at Loftus Road this season, but we think QPR will take the opportunity to get their own back. They have not lost away since 9 November, and Hull have a dreadful home record.

The Tigers will likely get one back, but we can only see QPR winning this one.

Pre-game odds and win probability: Home side surprising favourites

  • HOME: 6/5 (2.20) – 45.5%
  • DRAW: 11/5 (3.20) – 31.3%
  • AWAY: 23/10 (3.30) – 30.3%

The bookmakers' expected winner in this one is Hull. Despite their recent form, the Tigers are given a 45.5% likelihood victory, though we think QPR offer much better value.

Most recent H2Hs: Advantage Hull

Although we back QPR to turn the Tigers over, there's no denying that Hull have had the advantage in recent seasons, winning three of the last five meetings between the pair.

Hull preview: Danger looming

Although they have experienced a slight uplift in form in recent weeks, Hull have not been able to extricate themselves from the relegation zone.

The Tigers are just one point ahead of 22nd-placed Portsmouth coming into this one, but Pompey have a game in hand against rock-bottom Plymouth.

To make matters worse, Hull are missing seven first team players coming into this one.

Predicted Lineup: Rushworth (GK), Drameh, Burns, Jones, Mclaughlin, Slater, Alzate, Puerta, Kamara, Pedro, Burstow

QPR preview: Remarkable recovery

At one point this season, it looked as though QPR's long spell of staving off relegation might come to a close, with just one win in their first 16.

But since then, the west Londoners have turned it around spectacularly, with seven wins in their last 11 league matches.

With three league wins on the spin coming into this one, we think they'll continue to climb the league table.

Predicted Lineup: Nardi (GK), Dunne, Edwards, Fox, Paal, Varane, Field, Smyth, Morgan, Chair, Kolli

Player to watch – Rayan Kolli

Our player to watch in this one is QPR's Rayan Kolli. The 19-year-old Algerian continued to make a splash in his debut campaign with a winning goal against Plymouth last time out.

Michael Frey has been trusted up front, but with the teenage striker averaging a goal or assist every 86 minutes this season, surely it is time for Kolli to take the reins?
