PSG vs Al-Nassr Lineups, Match Preview, and Team Information

PSG

The biggest issue for PSG this summer is the future of star striker Kylian Mbappe who has entered the final season of his contract and doesn't wish to extend it further. Mbappe has, it seems, set his sights on Real Madrid, but the PSG brass wants him to sign the extension or leave this summer. While that situation is resolving, there were few new additions to the club. Manuel Ugarte, Milan Skriniar, Marco Asensio, and Lucas Hernandez are the newest members of the Ligue 1 champions while there is no more Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos who left the club upon the expiration of their contracts. Of course, there was also a change on the coaching side of things as Luis Enrique has taken over the team earlier this summer.

Possible lineup: Navas, Mouquet, Skriniar, Kimpembe, Nhaga, Mukiele, Ugarte, Verratti, Michut, Asensio, Ekitike.

Al-Nassr

The Saudi Arabia team is preparing for the new season in Europe. They had two easy wins against lesser-known teams at the beginning of the training period, but since then they have played Celta Vigo and Benfica which didn't go so well. The team lost both games with a combined goal difference of 1-9. Cristiano Ronaldo was their biggest acquisition earlier this year, but things have certainly changed in Saudi Arabia as some of their biggest clubs are buying whoever they want with astonishing amounts of money going toward transfer fees and salaries. This summer, Al-Nassr brought two new players so far with Seko Fofana and Marcelo Brozovic joining the club. Luis Castro is the new coach. David Ospina is injured at the moment.

Possible lineup: Nawaf Al-Aqidi, Ali Lajami, Mohammed Al-Fatil, Konan, Kim, Brozovic, Ali, Fofana, Talisca, Adam, Ronaldo.

Player to Watch: Seko Fofana

The Ivory Coast international had a terrific last season playing for Lens, but this summer he received a significant offer to join Al-Nassr and accepted that deal even though he would have played in the Champions League this upcoming season for the French side.

Fofana was raised at Lorient youth team before moving to Man City U21 where he spent a couple of years before moving to Udinese and then after some time to Lens where he made a name for himself. He has scored 47 goals over 330 games throughout his career while also having played eight games for the Ivory Coast national team scoring three goals.

Starting lineups

Starting lineups are usually released 60 minutes before kick-off.
