Porto face a challenging trip to Guimaraes on Saturday, 21 September when they take on Vitoria Guimaraes in the Primeira Liga.
The visitors have started the season well, winning four of their first five matches with their only defeat coming in an away match against Sporting Lisbon.
Vitoria have been just as impressive and are the surprise package in the early weeks of the season. Like Porto, they sit on 12 points after five matches played.
As part of our latest round of Primeira Liga betting tips, here is our Vitoria Guimaraes vs Porto prediction.

Vitoria Guimaraes vs Porto prediction: Dragons to get the job done
Key Stats
- Porto have won four of their last five away matches in the Primeira Liga.
- Vitoria Guimaraes are yet to face any of the big three this season.
- Porto have scored at least once in four of their five league matches this season while Vitoria have scored at least once in ten of their eleven games in all competitions.
Correct score prediction: Vitoria Guimaraes 1-2 Porto
Vitoria have been brilliant this season and are certainly ones to watch in the race for the European spots but Porto need to win here to stay on the coattails of Sporting Lisbon and they should have enough to do it. They've only conceded in two matches so far but Vitoria's impressive scoring streak should mean the visitors at least get on the scoresheet.

Most recent H2Hs: Porto dominance
Another reason why Porto have been priced as the odds-on favourites for this match is their remarkable record against Vitoria Guimaraes. The Dragons have come out on top in 12 of their last 13 matches against Vitoria and haven't lost an away match against them in eight years.
Last season, the two clubs faced off four times with Vitoria recording a rare victory in the league fixture at the Estadio do Dragao.

Porto preview: A must-win game
Although Porto won't be out of the title picture with a loss or a draw here, they need to show that they are capable of producing the goods in a tricky away fixture. Sporting dismantled them in Lisbon before the international break and a response is necessary for psychological reasons more than anything else.
Predicted lineup: Costa (GK), Mario, Otavio, Moura, Gonzalez, Varela, Galeno, Pepe, Jaime, Omorodion

Player to watch: Galeno
Porto lost one Brazilian forward this summer when last season's top goalscorer, Evanilson, signed for Bournemouth. However, another one has stepped up to the plate in his absence with winger, Galeno, becoming an output machine for the Dragons.
Galeno has scored six goals in six appearances for Porto this season despite starting as a winger. There has only been one game where he failed to find the back of the net so he will be feeling confident ahead of this one.
