Both still searching for their first UEFA Nations League win of the 2026-27 campaign, Romania travel to the Polish capital on Friday night as both sides look to turn their disappointing starts around.
The Eagles return home after suffering defeat in Sweden during the week, with Graham Potter's side securing a comprehensive 3-1 victory thanks to goals from Benjamin Nygren, Yasin Ayari and Viktor Gyokeres.
While Poland did at least begin their campaign with a draw, the Tricolours have been unable to pick up a point so far, with successive defeats to Sweden and Bosnia & Herzegovina leaving them bottom of League B, Group 4.

In the third instalment of a gruelling four-game window, Poland return to the capital looking to end a Nations League winless run that has now stretched beyond two years.
The Eagles ended their 2024-25 campaign with four defeats and a draw from their final five matches, a sequence that ultimately saw them relegated from League A to League B, and they have yet to impress in the division below.
Poland opened their latest Nations League campaign at home to Bosnia & Herzegovina but had to settle for a point after neither side could find a breakthrough before travelling to Sweden, where Graham Potter's team inflicted the first defeat of the campaign on Jan Urban's men.
The Poles fell behind after just eight minutes and, despite drawing level shortly before half time, were eventually beaten comfortably in Stockholm as they returned from Scandinavia with a 3-1 defeat to their name.
That draw and defeat have extended Poland's unwanted winless run in the tournament, while their lack of victories may come as little surprise to supporters after they failed to win any of their next five matches in all competitions following their March success over Albania.
Romania have also struggled to adjust to life in League B despite enjoying a flawless campaign in the 2024-25 Nations League, when the Tricolours won all six of their matches to secure promotion.
However, Gheorghe Hagi's side have made a difficult start to their latest campaign, suffering back-to-back defeats against Sweden and Bosnia & Herzegovina.
The Tricolours were narrowly beaten by Sweden before suffering a more emphatic 4-2 home defeat to Bosnia & Herzegovina, leaving them without a point after their opening two fixtures.
One positive for Romania is that they have found the net three times across those defeats, two more than their upcoming opponents, and they will know that tightening up at the back could quickly change their fortunes.
They also suffered World Cup qualifying heartbreak in March, but the Tricolours showed signs of better form in June by drawing away to Georgia before recording a 2-1 victory over Craig Bellamy's Wales.
The two sides will meet at the Stadion Narodowy in Warsaw on Friday, with this set to be their first encounter since Poland recorded a 3-1 victory in June 2017, when Robert Lewandowski scored a hat-trick.
