Barcelona to score first

Barcelona have scored the first goal in six of the last seven meetings between the two sides.

Barcelona are edging closer to winning the La Liga title as they face Osasuna at Estadio El Sadar on Saturday evening.

The Blaugrana are currently 11 points clear of second-placed Real Madrid at the top of the La Liga table, and it is only a matter of time before they are crowned champions.

Osasuna are two points behind sixth-placed Getafe, and they can still make it to Europe with a few wins in the remaining matches.

Osasuna head into this fixture on the back of a 2-1 victory over Sevilla and have suffered just one defeat in their previous five matches.

Los Rojillos may have lost 13 league games this season, but they have been a formidable force on home soil, collecting 32 points from 16 matches and recording nine wins in the process.

Osasuna, however, do not possess an encouraging record against the Catalan giants, having won only 21 of their previous 100 meetings with Barcelona, including a 2-0 defeat in the reverse fixture earlier this season.

🔍 Whispers Insight

Osasuna have failed to keep a clean sheet in their previous 17 matches against Barcelona.

In terms of team news, Iker Benito (knee) and Victor Munoz (muscle) are ruled out for Saturday’s clash, while Aimar Oroz (muscle) will need to be assessed ahead of kickoff.

Barcelona have responded well after their Champions League exit, returning to winning ways with back-to-back league victories.

Should Real Madrid fail to beat Espanyol, then Barca could be crowned champions as early as this week if they overcome Osasuna.

🔍 Whispers Insight

Barcelona have scored first in four of their last five matches.

Hansi Flick’s side have arguably been the standout team in the division this season, and their away form has been particularly impressive, with 11 wins, one draw and only four defeats on their travels.

In terms of team news, Lamine Yamal is out for the remainder of the season with a hamstring injury, while Jules Koundeis suspended after accumulating yellow cards. However, Raphinha and Marc Bernal have both returned to training and could be included in the starting line-up.

Whispers Predicts: Osasuna 1-2 Barcelona

Barcelona have been comfortably the strongest side in the division this season, and they will be eager to wrap up the title at the earliest opportunity, which makes the 1.73 price for an away victory look a reasonable option.

Osasuna, however, have been excellent on home soil and still carry ambitions of qualifying for Europe, but Barca’s overall quality and depth, even without Lamine Yamal, should give them the edge.

Both teams have scored in five of Osasuna’s last seven matches, which makes BTTS - Yes at 3.1 an attractive betting angle.

Ferran Torres has scored 14 La Liga goals this season and is backed at 2.38 to find the net anytime.

📈 Whispers' Tips

> Barcelona to score first at 1.57 | Likelihood: Probable

> Match result: Barcelona win at 1.73 | Likelihood: Probable

> Barcelona win and BTTS - Yes at 3.1 | Likelihood: Possible

> Ferran Torres to score anytime at 2.38 | Likelihood: Outsider
