After narrowly losing at home to Leeds both in the Premier League and the Carabao Cup, Forest grew some confidence with a hard-fought point at Liverpool.
Oliver Glasner is now up and running at his new club, and will be hoping to secure his first win here.
He could give a debut to his former player from Crystal Palace Daniel Munoz to help that, although there are questions over his fitness.
Ibrahim Sangare is also doubtful, but Forest still have players they will feel can hurt Tottenham.
As for Spurs, they rounded off the transfer window by bringing in two players from fierce rivals Chelsea.
Tosin Adarabioyo arrives as defensive cover, while Mykhailo Mudryk joins on loan after a couple of years out of the game.
Dejan Kulusevski has also returned to training in a big boost, but Roberto De Zerbi is likely to be cautious with his minutes.
There are also questions over James Maddison and Savio's fitness, so it will be interesting to see how Tottenham line up.

Whispers predicts: Nottingham Forest 2-1 Tottenham
Forest are slight favourites with bookies, and having picked up some confidence from their trip to Anfield, we are happy to back Forest to win at 154/100 (2.54).
Both teams have failed to keep clean sheets in any of the five games they have been involved in this season though, so BTTS – Yes at 3/4 (1.75) is a safer pick.
In terms of player betting, Morgan Gibbs-White opened his account for the season against Liverpool, and with seven goals in his last seven league appearances now, Gibbs-White to score anytime at 23/10 (3.30) is worth a punt.
Overall, we are predicting a 2-1 Forest victory, which can be backed at 10/1 (11.00).

> Forest to win at 154/100 (2.54) | Likelihood: Possible
