That is according to Fotbolldirekt, who state that Forest are yet to ‘present anything concrete' despite entering the race for the defender.

Forest's hopes of landing Svensson rest on whether Dortmund sign Svensson on a permanent deal. There is a belief that Dortmund will have to sign Svensson on a permanent deal if he makes a total of 15 appearances.
Svensson has so far featured in 12 games for the German club, with four matches left to play in the Bundesliga season. Nordsjaelland wanted £7m for the 23-year-old in the winter transfer window, but he could be available for just over £5m, giving Forest an idea of what they may have to pay if he becomes available this summer.
