The Netherlands will take on Morocco in the early hours of Tuesday morning, as the round of 32 at the 2026 World Cup continues.

On paper, it is one of the most glamorous ties of the entire round, and both sets of players will fancy their chances of making it through to the round of 16.

As for Morocco, their dreams of another deep run on football's biggest stage is now in serious jeopardy after failing to win their group.

While finishing above Brazil was always going to be a difficult task, they could have performed better against both Scotland and Haiti, so they only have themselves to blame.

They were forced to come from behind twice against Haiti, while Scotland arguably should have had a late penalty, so the Atlas Lions hardly come into this one brimming with confidence.

Ismael Saibari has been their standout player with three goals to his name already, and he will surely lead the line once again on Tuesday. With no injuries or suspensions, manager Mohamed Ouahbi could go with an unchanged XI here, which should also see Achraf Hakimi win his 100th international cap.
