Montenegro have made an excellent start to their Nations League campaign, winning all three of their matches against Cyprus, Armenia and Latvia.

Mirko Vucinic's side opened with a 2-1 home victory over Cyprus before producing a 3-2 comeback win against Armenia in Yerevan.

They then travelled to Riga on Friday and secured another 2-1 victory over Latvia, putting them nine points clear at the top of Group C2.

The result against Armenia was particularly significant, as Montenegro came from behind to win 3-2, with Nikola Krstovic and Milutin Osmajic among the scorers in that contest.

Armenia's campaign has gone in the opposite direction since their opening-day victory over Latvia, as Eghishe Melikyan's side followed that 2-0 success with the narrow defeat to Montenegro before losing 2-0 to Cyprus on Friday.

That latest result means Armenia have now lost their last two matches and failed to score in their most recent fixture.

They will therefore need a considerable improvement in attack if they are to become the first side to take points away from Montenegro in Group C2.

The head-to-head record is relatively even overall with two wins each and a draw, but Montenegro have now won the most recent meeting and have the chance to record consecutive victories over Armenia for the first time.

Armenia will be without Artem Bandikyan who went off injured against Cyprus, otherwise the visitors have everyone available.

Whispers predicts: Montenegro 2-1 Armenia

Montenegro have been the more consistent side during the opening three rounds, winning every match and that makes them the clear favourites against an Armenia that have lost consecutive games.

Montenegro to win is priced at 4/6 (1.66) and are the main pick for this game, while we also believe Armenia will breach the home side, making both teams to score at 17/20 (1.85) another solid option.

We also expect a 2-1 Montenegro victory, priced at 36/5 (8.20).

📈 Montenegro vs. Armenia — Whispers' Tips
