Millwall will take on Luton on Saturday, 14 September in the Championship this weekend with the away side still looking for their first win of the new season.
The Hatters haven't adapted to life back in the Championship well at all and have picked up just one point from their first four matches of the new season. It has left Rob Edwards in danger of losing his job so they need a win here to alleviate that pressure.
Millwall picked up their first win of the season in the final match before the international break so will be looking to pick up where they left off.
As part of our latest round of Championship betting tips, here is our Millwall vs Luton prediction.

Key Stats
- Luton have only conceded one goal on the road so far this season.
- Millwall have lost two of the three matches they've played in all competitions this season.
- Fewer than three goals have been scored in three of Millwall's last five matches.
- Fewer than three goals have been scored in three of Luton's last five matches.
Correct score prediction: Millwall 1-1 Luton
Luton may not have enough to get their first win of the season this weekend but we believe they have enough quality to at least pick up a point. The Hatters have only conceded once on the road this season which bodes well ahead of their trip to the Den, especially as Millwall have failed to score in two of their last three matches.
Pre-game odds and win probability: A close match to call
- HOME: 8/5 (2.60) – 38.5%
- DRAW: 23/10 (3.30) – 30.3%
- AWAY: 13/8 (2.63) – 38.1%
*odds from Ladbrokes, subject to change
At the start of the season, Luton would almost certainly have come into this match as favourites but their early season woes have put the bookies off. This one has been priced very closely with Ladbrokes pricing a win for Millwall at 8/5 and a win for Luton at 13/8. The draw, which wouldn't be a bad result for either team, has been priced at 23/10.

Most recent H2Hs: Draw central
Another reason why we are leaning towards a draw for this fixture is because it is a result that has happened time and time again in recent meetings between Millwall and Luton. Four of the last five H2Hs have finished all square with the last winner of the fixture being Luton in a match played at the Den in 2021.

Millwall preview: A break at the wrong time?
Millwall got off the mark in the final match before the international break, and after their impressive 3-0 win, they will have felt like the break had come at the worst possible time. They will attempt to recapture that form this weekend but will do so without Billy Mitchell who continues his injury recovery.
Predicted lineup: Jensen (GK), Leonard, Cooper, Tanganga, Bryan, De Norre, Saville Esse, Honeyman, Watmore, Coburn

Luton preview: The return of a familiar face
Luton have had a disappointing start to the new season so perhaps the signing of Victor Moses on a free transfer can breathe new life into a squad that is perhaps still feeling sorry for themselves after relegation. The former Chelsea wideman is still only 33 years old and could prove to be quite the catch.
Predicted lineup: Kaminski (GK), Mengi, McGuinness, Bell, Walters, Baptiste, Clark, Doughty, Morris, Moses, Adebayo

Player to watch: Victor Moses
Victor Moses has signed for Luton on a free transfer and he brings with them bags of experience. Moses has played all over the world and all over the pitch so we aren't entirely sure where he will line up in Rob Edwards' system but his know-how and experience is something that the Hatters definitely need after a shakey start to the season.
