Milan vs Barcelona Lineups and Last Match
Milan
Milan are yet to win on American soil, this despite them enjoying leads both against Real Madrid and Juventus. The Rossoneri threw away a 2-0 lead vs Real and ended up losing 2-3. They also held the lead twice vs Juve but the game ended 2-2 and Milan lost the penalty shootout.
In both those games, the forward actions were good with newcomer Pulisic and Leao flanking veteran Giroud up front. Defensively things looked pretty poor though.
Full-back Calabria got hurt in the last friendly and he seems likely to sit out now. Florenzi could start instead.
Predicted Lineup – Maignan (GK), Florenzi, Thiaw, Tomori, T Hernandez, Loftus-Cheek, Krunic, Pobega, Leao, Giroud & Pulisic
Barcelona
Barca's summer tour so far has seen them scoring goals by the bucket. They beat Vissel Kobe 2-0. Then lost 3-5 vs Arsenal before demolishing Real Madrid 3-0 in their last friendly. The 5 goals conceded vs Arsenal lit some alarm bells but the most recent display in defence vs Real was impressive.
There was some bad news for the Catalans after their last match. Both Christensen and Gundogan picked up injuries. They are now likely to miss out. Newcomer Inigo Martinez also might not be risked due to a muscle strain. The squad is deep though.
Ferran Torres and Raphinha could start, while Dembele's situation remains uncertain as he is expected to join PSG this summer.
Predicted Lineup – Ter Stegen (GK), Roberto, R Araujo, Kounde, Balde, Romeu, De Jong, Pedri, Torres, Lewandowski & Raphinha

Player to Watch: Malick Thiaw
The young German centre-back Malick Thiaw is a giant of a player. A lot could be desired from him defensively but in attack, he’s a major threat. Thiaw scored the first and assisted for the second goal in the last friendly vs Juventus. Now, against the much smaller Barcelona defence, we fancy Thiaw’s chances to be causing constant havoc from set pieces.
Can the German score in back-to-back matches?
