After finishing third last season, Man United find themselves in unwanted territory in 12th.
They have won just once in the league so far, and pressure is already building on Michael Carrick.
However, a win here would make things rosier, but the Red Devils have a poor recent H2H record.
Patrick Dorgu and Noussair Mazraoui did pick up injuries during the international break though, making it a tougher task.
Tottenham suffered a similar fate with Micky van de Ven and Jan Paul van Hecke also picking up injuries.
That will not help their cause in trying to get their first league victory this season under Roberto De Zerbi.
Spurs will be concerned with being bottom of the league even after just five matches, especially after finishing 17th twice in a row.
Nonetheless, against an inconsistent Man United side, they always have a chance.

Whispers predicts: Manchester United 1-1 Tottenham
Man United are 3/4 (1.75) favourites to win, but given their poor start to the season and Tottenham's strong recent H2H record, we fancy the visitors to get a positive result.
Double chance – Draw/Tottenham at 13/10 (2.30) is our first pick, while our next focuses on the corners market.
10 of Spurs' last 11 league fixtures produced 10 or more, so Over 9.5 corners at 3/5 (1.60) could come through.
In terms of players to focus on, Bryan Mbeumo has seven goal involvements in his last six league matches against Tottenham, so Mbeumo to score or assist at 1/1 (2.00) is our final bet.
Overall, we are predicting a 1-1 draw, which is available at 17/2 (9.50).
> Over 9.5 corners at 1.60 | Likelihood: High
> Mbeumo to score or assist at 2.00 | Likelihood: Medium
> Double chance – Draw/Tottenham at 2.30 | Likelihood: Medium
