Bayern Munich vs Man City Prediction 1: Man City to win
We kick off our tips for this game by backing Man City to win. City proved just how much class they have in their ranks in the first leg and a second clash where Bayern Munich are going to be forced to be a tad more expansive doesn't lend itself to containing that quality. On top of that observation, Bayern Munich have lost three of their last five games whilst City have won nine matches on the spin. It all points to another victory for Man City.
Bayern Munich vs Man City Prediction 2: Over 2.5 goals
The second of our football betting tips for this game comes from the total goals market and we're banking on seeing at least three i.e. over 2.5. Bayern Munich have gone over that threshold in four of their last five games whilst Manchester City have broken the 2.5 cut off in each of their last five. Three of the last five head to head games between these sides have also gone north of the 2.5 cut off.

Bayern Munich
There are big question marks over how this Bayern Munich side look to approach this game. They're obviously massive outsiders to progress but to stand any chance of turning things around, they're going to have to try and take City on. That will likely see them change a few things from the first leg with Dayot Upamecano perhaps one player that will drop out of the XI. There is also the massive talking point of Leroy Sane and Sadio Mane, who came to blows after that aforementioned first leg clash. Will either feature this time round?
Predicted lineup – Sommer, Davies, de Ligt, Blind, Pavard, Kimmich, Goretzka, Mane, Musiala, Coman, Gnabry
Man City
Pep Guardiola has long been accused of overthinking in the latter stages of this competition but he didn't miss a beat in the first leg of this tie. He'll have to get things horribly wrong in Germany for his side not to advance now and we just don't see that happening. We also don't see him naming a side that is particularly weakened, which means the likes of Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne will start here.
Predicted lineup – Ederson, Walker, Dias, Ake, Stones, Rodri, Mahrez, De Bruyne, Gundogan, Grealish, Haaland

Player to watch for Bayern Munich – Jamal Musiala
With so many great players to choose from, it's not easy to pick one who could stand out in this game for Bayern Munich, especially with the issues that are going on in the locker room. Still, one of the players that we feel could make a difference here is Jamal Musiala, the young phenom who is having another good season for the team.
Although he's still just 20 years old, Jamal Musiala already established himself as one of the key players for Bayern Munich and even the German national team. He scored eleven goals and added nine assists in Bundesliga this season. However, Musiala still did not score in Champions League this season in eight appearances, but if he can make things happen against Man City, all of that will quickly be forgotten.
Player to watch for Man City – Erling Haaland
Bayern Munich will almost definitely give a better account of themselves in this game than they did in the first leg, however, another goal for Man City will almost definitely kill this tie as a contest. With goals being the order of the day, there is only one player we can look upon as the key man – that's Erling Haaland.
The former Dortmund forward has been goal crazy all season notching 45 goals in all competitions to this point and, across the last five, he's hit an even more remarkable 12 goals. He also has a lot of experience playing against the Munich team, so Bayern will have to try and find a way to stop the Norwegian in this match if they want to have any chance of getting to the next stage.
