Man City vs Al Ain prediction: City could run riot in Atlanta
Key Stats
- A subpar Al Ain were four goals down by half time in their eventual 5-0 loss to Juventus on matchday one.
- Man City were two goals up by the interval in their victory over WAC on Wednesday.
- Man City won nine corners in their 2-0 triumph over WAC in midweek.
- Man City created six big chances against WAC on matchday one in Group G.
Correct score prediction: Man City 5-0 Al Ain
Al Ain looked alarmingly poor in their 5-0 loss to Juventus on matchday one in Group G and they could be torn apart in similar style by a vastly superior Man City outfit in Atlanta.

According to the latest probability figures, Man City have a 94.1% chance of collecting three points on Monday, which highlights the chasm in quality that exists between the teams.
Al Ain can be backed to win at 22/1 on Monday, however, even at that mammoth price, they offer little incentive with another meaty defeat the likeliest outcome. View our free football tips page for more Club World Cup predictions.

Man City preview: Rodri, Haaland and Gundogan could start
Rodri, Erling Haaland and Ilkay Gundogan came off the bench on matchday one against WAC and all three could be drafted into Pep Guardiola's starting XI on Monday. Rico Lewis, who was sent off late on in that contest, is suspended and will need to be replaced at right back.

Al Ain preview: Better showing from Patricio needed
Al Ain played with a five-man defence against Juventus, though their heavily-manned backline was still easily picked apart. Experienced keeper Rui Patricio had a poor game on matchday one and the Portuguese stopper will need to step things up on Monday.

Player to watch – Rui Patricio
Former Wolves and Roma keeper Rui Patricio joined Al Ain in May with the aim of aiding the UAE outfit in their FIFA Club World Cup adventure, though the 37-year-old’s debut against Juventus didn’t exactly go to plan.
Patricio is capable of better
The 108-times capped Portuguese international conceded five times against Juve in midweek, despite facing just seven shots on target and an expected goals tally of only 1.40. Patricio will need to drag his performance levels up against Man City or another pasting could be in the works for Al Ain on Monday.
