Malmo are aiming for a third straight victory in the Allsvenskan when they welcome relegation-threatened Goteborg to the Eleda Stadion on Sunday afternoon.
The hosts had suffered four straight defeats prior in the division, but now seem back on track as they aim to keep climbing the table.
Meanwhile, Goteborg occupy a relegation place after losing 2-1 at home to AIK last time out, which halted a previously positive run in the league.

Malmo have looked a shadow of the team that won back-to-back Allsvenskan titles in 2023 and 2024, but recent wins show signs that they are on their way back.
Indeed, their last home league outing saw them thrash Halmstad 5-2, while they were also victorious 1-0 away at Degerfors last weekend.
Like Goteborg, both of those sides are struggling at the wrong end of the table, so Gaute Helstrup should be confident his team can pick up another much-needed victory here on home soil.
Malmo will have to do so without Anders Christiansen and Pontus Jansson though, as both are still on the treatment table.
Goteborg also have injury problems of their own, with Gabriel Ersoy, Arbnor Mucolli and Jonathan Rasheed all expected to be sidelined.
It certainly does not help the visitors as they aim to pull out of their relegation spot, so Stefan Billborn may have to adjust things tactically to try and get a result.
Goteborg did previously go three games unbeaten in the league (W2, D1) before their recent defeat to AIK, and they will be hoping the loss was just a minor blip.
Still, being the only Allsvenskan side yet to keep a clean sheet this season, it suggests their backs are against the wall when travelling to Malmo.

Whispers predicts: Malmo 3-1 Goteborg
Given heir upturn in form and home advantage, we are backing Malmo to win at 19/20 (1.95).
However, Goteborg could still cause them problems having scored 10 goals across their last five league matches, so BTTS – Yes at 13/20 (1.65) is also worth backing in our eyes.
In terms of a more ambitious punt, Over 3.5 goals at 13/8 (2.63) is certainly worth pursuing having come through in six of Malmo's previous seven games in all competitions.
Overall, we are predicting a 3-1 Malmo victory, which can be backed at 13/1 (14.00).
> BTTS – Yes at 13/20 (1.65) | Likelihood: Probable
> Malmo to win at 19/20 (1.95) | Likelihood: Probable
> Over 3.5 goals at 13/8 (2.63) | Likelihood: Possible
