The defeat leaves Lyon hanging in fourth, just one point above Rennes in the race for Champions League qualification. Lille occupy third place, one point ahead in the automatic qualification spot.

A victory here combined with Lille’s defeat or draw with Auxerre will see Lyon leap past them.

Paulo Fonseca misses four players for this encounter, with Orel Mangala, Tanner Tessmann, Adil Hamdani and Remi Himbert sidelined.
