Liverpool have now played five games with Andoni Iraola in the dugout, and he has won twice while drawing on three occasions.
His most recent stalemate was a goalless draw with Fulham on Saturday in the Premier League, and that was a concerning match given the Reds created little in the final third.
Iraola's system is far more intense than the one used by Arne Slot, and it perhaps should come as no surprise that the team looked lethargic against the Cottagers when that was their third game in nine days.

The match at Anfield will be a special occasion for Spurs defender Robertson, who spent nine years at Liverpool between 2017 and 2026, winning two Premier League titles and one Champions League, as well as several other trophies.
However, the left-back's current team are in desperate need of respite having only taken two points from their four league matches, while also failing to score a goal in the top flight.
Tottenham have often struggled against Liverpool, with the club having lost 14 of their last 20 matches against their hosts while only winning once, though one of of those victories came in a match in which the Reds were reduced to nine men in 2023.
