Leicester vs Brighton: Top Two Betting Tips

Struggling Leicester face another tough home game in the Premier League this weekend as high-flying Brighton provide the opposition. The Seagulls are only 3pts behind 5th-placed Tottenham and genuinely look like they could qualify for European competition this season.

Brighton to Win

The Seagulls claimed a 5-2 victory over Leicester when these two sides met back in September and we're predicting another 3pts going the way of Brighton this weekend. Leicester are in the midst of a losing streak right now with each of their last four league games ending in defeat, while have won four of their last five matches in all competitions and head into this game on the back of a comfortable victory against Liverpool.

Solly March to Score

Solly March has hit a purple patch for Brighton with goals in three of his last four outings in the Premier League. The 28-year-old has scored 4-goals in the league and all have arrived in the last month, including 2-goals against Liverpool last time out. March has never really been much of a goalscorer for the Seagulls and his long career on the south coast has seen him come in and out of the team on a regular basis but there is no way he won't start on Saturday if he's fit.

Leicester odds: 13/5 (3.60) – 27.8%

Despite having the home advantage, the Foxes head into Saturday's clash as the underdogs with the bookmakers. If you want to back Under/Over 2.5 goals in this game it looks like the bookies fancy Over 2.5 Goals to be scored as that market has odds of just 11/13 (1.85) – 54.2% right now, while you can back Under 2.5 Goals to be scored at 1/1 (2.00) – 50%.

How will the teams lineup on Saturday?

Leicester

Leicester's last league game saw them make the short trip to Nottingham Forest, another side deemed to be a relegation candidate this season. The first half ended goalless but a brace from Johnson in the second forty-five saw Nottingham Forest secure a big 3pts in their bid to remain in the Premier League. Saturday's hosts look set to be without a number of key players once again as Justin, Soumare, Evans, Pereira, Maddison, Dewsbury-Hall, Perez and Bertrand are all injury concerns.

Predicted Lineup – Ward (GK), Amartey, Castagne, Faes, Thomas, Albrighton, Mendy, Tielemans, Ndidi, Barnes & Vardy

Brighton

Brighton put in a fantastic performance to thrash Liverpool 3-0 at the AmEx last time out. March opened the scoring for the home side in the 47th-minute and doubled his and his team's tally 6-minutes later. Welbeck added a third goal 9-minutes from time to confirm the Seagull's victory. Moder, Mwepu and Trossard all missed that game and look set to be unavailable for the trip to Leicester as well.

Predicted Lineup – Sánchez (GK), Dunk, Estupiñán, Colwill, Lallana, Groß, March, Mac Allister, Mitoma, Caicedo & Ferguson

Player to Watch: Solly March

We couldn't really pick any other player for our player to watch in this game, based on the recent form of all players concerned.

Solly March has never been renowned for his goalscoring ability yet he has netted 4-goals for Brighton in the Premier League this season, all arriving in the last months' worth of football. We're expecting Brighton's 28-year-old winger to have another good game when he comes up against a fragile Leicester defence.

March has chipped in with 4-assists for the Seagulls this season, making him the club's main provider of goals, so when you mix that aspect in with his recent eye for goal, you can see why we're keeping a keen eye on March this weekend.
