Brighton vs Leicester: Top Two Betting Tips

Brighton occupy one of the Champions League places as things stand, picking up 10pts from their opening four fixtures. This weekend, bottom of the Premier League table Leicester provide the opposition for the Seagulls and with just 1pt to their name, the Foxes face a tough task on the south coast.

Brighton to Win

With form and the home advantage in their favour this weekend, we're backing Brighton to claim all 3pts against Leicester. The Seagulls won their last home game against the Foxes 2-1 and have picked up three wins from their opening five league games this season. Leicester have lost four of their five opening matches and had a poor transfer window that has left many believing that they could struggle this season.

Pascal Gross to Score

The German midfielder, Pascal Gross, has started the season in fine form for Brighton, netting 3-goals in his opening five matches for the club. The 31-year-old has been getting into the right areas at the right time and coolly finishing to help his side to an excellent start to the season. We're backing Gross to get on the scoresheet once again this weekend against a leaky Leicester defence.

Will Brighton add to Leicester's woes?

Brighton made the trip to Fulham in midweek where the Seagulls finally lost for the first time this season. The first half ended goalless but Fulham scored two quick goals in the second forty-five through Mitrovic and a Dunk own goal to race into the lead. Mac Allister did manage to convert a 60th-minute penalty to get Brighton back into the game but Fulham held firm to secure an impressive 3pts.

Brighton Predicted Lineup – Sánchez, Webster, Veltman, Dunk, Estupiñán, Groß, March, Mac Allister, Mwepu, Caicedo & Trossard

Leicester played host to Man Utd on Thursday night hoping to put an end to their winless start to the season and move off the bottom of the table. However, Man Utd took the lead through Sancho after good work from Rashford in the 23rd-minute and that goal proved enough to defeat the Foxes. Leicester still have quality in their side but losing some key players and not replacing them could prove to be their downfall this season.

Leicester Predicted Lineup – Ward, Evans, Justin, Thomas, Tielemans, Ndidi, Maddison, Soumaré, Dewsbury-Hall, Barnes & Vardy

Team News

Brighton: Jakub Moder, Adam Lallana and Jeremy Sarmiento could all miss out on Sunday through injury.

Leicester: Ricardo Pereira, Daniel Amartey and Ryan Bertrand are the three main injury concerns for the visitors.
