Leicester vs Brighton – Free Predictions

Leicester have the chance to reduce the gap between themselves and their guests Brighton in the Premier League table this weekend when the two sides go head-to-head. However, Brighton arrive in the midst of an unbeaten run and could prove to be a tough nut for the Foxes to crack.

BTTS

We're backing both teams to score on Sunday as they have done in each of the last three meetings between these two clubs in all competitions. Four of Brighton's and each of Leicester's last five matches in league and cup have also ended with both teams getting on the scoreboard, so you can see just why we're not confident that either club will keep their clean sheet intact this weekend.

Leicester looking to close the gap on Brighton this weekend

Leicester were left frustrated in midweek when they took on Tottenham at the King Power Stadium. Daka put the hosts in front in the 24th-minute but the sides went in level at the break following a Harry Kane equaliser. When Maddison put the Foxes back in front with just 14-minutes left to play, Leicester fans might have thought their side were going to see their way to victory, but that wasn't to be the case. In the 5th-minute of stoppage-time, Bergwijn equalised for the visitors and to make matters worse, the very same player then scored Tottenham's winner 2-minutes later in what was an unbelievable finish to the game.

Leicester Predicted Lineup – Schmeichel, Vestergaard, Söyüncü, Thomas, Albrighton, Tielemans, Maddison, Choudhury, Dewsbury-Hall, Daka & Lookman

Brighton had the home advantage against title-chasing Chelsea on Tuesday but fell behind in the 28th-minute to an effort from Ziyech. Despite being a goal behind at the break, Brighton responded well in the second half a deservedly got back onto level terms on the hour mark through defender Webster. The game ended 1-1 and Potter was left the happier of the two managers as his side maintained their unbeaten run.

Brighton Predicted Lineup – Sánchez, Webster, Veltman, Burn, Cucurella, Lamptey, Groß, Moder, Mac Allister, Welbeck & Alzate

Team News

Leicester: Evans, Castagne, Vardy, Pereira, Iheanacho, Mendy, Amartey, Ndidi, Fofana and Bertrand look set to miss the game on Sunday.

Brighton: Sarmiento, Mwepu, Duffy, Dunk, Lallana and Steele are all injury concerns for the visitors, while Bissouma is on international duty.
