Everyone associated with Leeds is more than likely still on cloud nine after their 2-1 victory over Manchester United on Monday night, not least Daniel Farke, who is now on the verge of keeping the Whites in the Premier League.
Earlier this season, there was talk in the media that Leeds were looking to replace Farke due to his poor record in the English top flight, but the German has now put those doubts to bed, with Leeds now just four points away from the magic 40.
Beyond the win at Old Trafford, Leeds have been impressive for much of 2026. Since 7 January, Farke's men have lost just three matches in all competitions, and two of those were against Arsenal and Manchester City.
For the match this weekend, Farke could have a full squad available. Joe Rodon, Daniel James and Anton Stach all missed the match in Manchester but have all returned to training in recent days.
As for Wolves, they will be doing everything in their power to ensure their Premier League adventure, which most recently began in 2018, is extended another week.
In fairness to the Old Gold, their form over the last couple of months has been okay, which will give fans hope that an immediate return to the top flight could be on the cards next season.
Rob Edwards will almost certainly be the man tasked with achieving exactly that, so he will be pleased with what he has seen from his team since the turn of the year. They have lost just two of their last seven Premier League fixtures, which is hardly the form of a side sinking without trace.
On Saturday, Edwards will be without Sam Johnstone and Matt Doherty due to injury, while Yerson Mosquera is suspended.
