Le Havre opened their account this season with a narrow 1-0 loss to Monaco, followed by a 1-1 draw with Lyon.
After their opening two games against top opposition, Brest’s arrival at Stade Oceane is a welcome sight, having won 1-0 here against them last season.
Six of Le Havre's last nine games have ended in draws.
However, that victory was their one and only in four meetings dating back to 2019. Brest have found it relatively easy to pick up points at Le Havre in recent H2Hs.
Felix Mambimbi, Stephan Zagadou and Abdoulaye Toure are the three absentees for Le Havre. For Brest, two players are confirmed missing: Brendan Chardonnet and Justin Bourgault.
Brest have been rather wobbly since the season’s start, drawing 2-2 in their opening two games, one of them against newly promoted Le Mans. They needed Ludovic Ajorque’s 95th-minute equaliser to steal a point off Toulouse last time out.
Brest ended last season winless in nine straight games.
The Pirates have now drawn each of their last three league games and remain winless in 11 straight Ligue 1 outings.
In fact, their last top-flight win dates to early March 2026, when they beat Le Havre 2-0 at Stade Francis-Le Ble.

Whispers predicts: Le Havre 1-1 Brest
HT/FT – Draw/Draw at 4/1 (5.00) offers excellent returns, as per Bet365, with the two sides unconvincing in both attack and defence. Expect a cagey encounter from the get-go.
Both teams are predicted to score in what is expected to be a hard-fought contest, especially in midfield. BTTS – Yes at 7/8 (1.87) is a bet worth backing.
Kamory Doumbia has scored in each of Brest’s opening two matches, plus with an assist to show for against Le Mans (G2, A1). Backing him to score or assist anytime at 8/5 (2.60) carries significant weight.
Double chance in favour of Brest i.e. Brest or Draw at 8/15 (1.53) also carries value, although minimal. The visitors are in relatively better form than the hosts – backing the bet in their favour makes sense.
