Newcastle United are ready to reignite a move for Sporting CP centre-back Ousmane Diomande this summer.
According to reports, the Magpies are preparing another bid for the 22-year-old defender, having shown a keen interest during the January transfer window.
It's thought that a £40 million offer would be enough to see the Portuguese giants consider a sale, with Diomande under contract until 2030.
Crystal Palace were also keen at the turn of the year, as the Eagles viewed the Ivory Coast international as an ideal successor to Marc Guehi.
Liverpool interested in Anthony Gordon

Liverpool are interested in a surprise move for former Everton winger Anthony Gordon amid reports the Newcastle star wants to leave St James' Park at the end of the season.
The injury to Hugo Ekitike in midweek has also accelerated plans to bolster Arne Slot's attack this summer, while Bayern Munich and Arsenal are also said to be keen on the England international.
Reports claim Gordon is now being ‘seriously considered' by the Reds, though it remains to be seen how much and if the Magpies will even be open to selling the left winger.
Toffees wide man Iliman Ndiaye is also believed to be on Liverpool's shortlist, though that deal seems far more unlikely given the rivalry between the two sides.
Man City monitoring Givairo Read

Meanwhile, Manchester City appear to be targeting their first signing of the summer transfer window.
According to Sky Sports, the Cityzens are ‘closely monitoring' young Feyenoord right-back Givairo Read but face competition from Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.
City have been considering options in the role for the past few windows, though the form of Matheus Nunes has been a huge factor in them not launching a move.
The 19-year-old has excelled for the Eredivisie side this season and could be viewed as an option that would allow the Portuguese midfielder to move back into his natural position.
