Manchester City are reportedly considering exercising their buy-back option on Morgan Rogers this summer as a host of clubs continue to circle around the Aston Villa playmaker.

According to a report in TEAMtalk, City have the option to match any offer from another club for Rogers, and talks have started between the club and Rogers' representatives.

Aston Villa are said to be looking for at least £80m to part ways with their star player, with some reports in recent weeks suggesting that a fee beyond the £100m mark could be needed.

Arsenal and Chelsea are both keen on the England international, who is currently busy preparing for the FIFA World Cup with his England teammates.

Curtis Jones linked with shock move to Turkey

Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones could be set to leave Anfield this summer, with several overseas clubs reportedly preparing bids for the 25-year-old.

According to a report in Gazzetta dello Sport, Galatasaray are the latest club to make an approach for Jones, and the Turkish giants are said to be preparing an official bid.

The same report states that Inter Milan are also pushing hard to sign the midfielder, and the Italian side have already presented their proposal to Jones' representatives.

There is a strong possibility that Jones will wait to see who takes over as Liverpool manager this summer before committing his future elsewhere. The Liverpool academy graduate had reportedly fallen out of favour with Arne Slot, but the Dutchman's departure from Anfield could breathe new life into Jones' Anfield career.

The 26-year-old has long been admired behind the scenes at Liverpool, and he reportedly has a release clause of somewhere between €50m and €60m.

With Virgil van Dijk about to turn 35, Liverpool need to go big on defenders this summer to ensure that the Dutchman's minutes can be managed appropriately next season.
