Manchester United have undergone a midfield transformation during the off-season, and it may not end there.
According to reports in Spain, the Red Devils have now been offered the chance to sign Marc Casado, who Barcelona have put up for sale.
With less than two weeks to go in the transfer window, the LaLiga champions have made a decision on the 22-year-old's future, with an exit now likely.
Casado is expected to cost a minimum of €30 million (£27 million), making him a relatively affordable option for United.

Arsenal are one of several Premier League clubs considering a move for Pedro Neto.
Reports suggest that Chelsea want around £100 million for the Portugal winger amid strong interest from Saudi Pro League outfit Al Hilal.
However, the Gunners – as well as Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur – are also said to be keen on the 26-year-old attacker.
With Mikel Arteta failing to land two top targets in Vinicius Jr and Morgan Rogers, Neto could now emerge as a last-ditch signing late in the window.

United are also pushing ahead with talks over a new contract for Bruno Fernandes as fresh summer interest emerges.
Fabrizio Romano reports that United want their captain to stay and have been working on improved terms since May, with the club viewing him as central to Michael Carrick’s plans.
Turkish giants Galatasaray have tested the waters with a recent bid, but the Turkish side are unlikely to succeed before the September 1st deadline.
However, Fernandes' new contract is likely to have a release clause of around £60 million, hinting that an exit could be on the cards in the not-so-distant future.
