Alex Scott next club odds: Chelsea favourites to sign Bournemouth star

Alex Scott could leave Bournemouth this summer after reportedly rejecting two proposals from the club to sign a new deal.

Chelsea have already had a £64m bid rejected for the midfielder, with the Cherries valuing him at around £80m.

The Blues are thought to be preparing a second offer of £70m, but would that be enough to convince Bournemouth to sell?

Scott's teammate Eli Junior Kroupi has also been linked with a move away from the Vitality Stadium despite recently picking up an injury, and new manager Marco Rose will be desperate to keep his best players, but the Cherries have been known to sell their prized assets before if the money is right.

According to Oddschecker, Chelsea are the favourites to sign Scott this summer, which is unsurprising given they have already had a bid rejected for him and are preparing another offer.

A number of other Premier League clubs are in the race for his signature, while he could also move to France, Germany, Italy or Spain.

Which club offers the best value to sign Alex Scott this summer?

In terms of value, it could be worth betting on Scott to join Liverpool instead this summer.

Of course, former Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola is now in charge at Anfield, and could reunite with his former player.

Curtis Jones has also been linked with a move to Inter Milan, and so should the Reds sell, they would need to bring in a midfield replacement.

It is unclear whether Liverpool would be willing to pay Scott's £80m price tag given their big transfer splurge last summer, but he could be a valuable asset to their midfield should he sign.

In terms of other clubs to keep an eye on, Arsenal could pursue Scott if their move for Bruno Guimaraes falls through, while Newcastle United would need a replacement for the Brazilian should he join the Gunners.

Manchester City could also turn to Scott should they fail to sign Ayyoub Bouaddi.
