Joshua Zirkzee emerges as a top target for Roma

While Joshua Zirkzee's time at Manchester United has been nothing short of underwhelming, the Dutchman still retains a strong reputation in Italy, thanks to his performances for Bologna between 2022 and 2024.
According to reports in the Italian publication, Il Messaggero, that reputation has led to the 24-year-old becoming a top target for Roma this winter alongside Giacomo Raspadori.
The report states that Roma chiefs believe that Zirkzee can transform their attack, with the Giallorossi only managing 17 goals from 16 league games so far this season. While Roma don't have the funds to secure a permanent move for Zirkzee this winter, they are keen on negotiating a loan deal with an option to buy.
Manchester United would be reluctant to let the former Bologna man go in the middle of the season, particularly as Benjamin Sesko is their only other recognised centre forward.
Antoine Semenyo to decide on his future today?

Antoine Semenyo is almost certainly going to be on the move this winter, with the winger's £65m release clause the worst-kept secret in English football.
The debate for weeks now has been about where Semenyo end up, and it has emerged in recent days that Manchester City and Manchester United are currently leading the race.
According to a report by Sky's Lyall Thomas, Semenyo is set to decide on his destination in the next 24 hours and that Liverpool are also in the race alongside the two Manchester clubs.
With the £65m release clause set to expire on 10 January, all interested parties will have to act quickly as soon as the window opens, which should set us up for an exciting start to the new year if nothing else.
West Ham's strikeforce to be overhauled

West Ham are set to completely overhaul their forward options this winter, with the club now seriously fearing relegation to the Championship.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Niclas Fullkrug is set to sign for AC Milan on loan until the end of the season when the January window opens, with the German keen to get out of East London as soon as possible.
In terms of incomings, a report from David Ornstein has suggested that the Hammers will make a move for Jorgen Strand Larsen this winter. The 25-year-old has endured a torrid second season at Wolves, but there is belief that Nuno Espirito Santo could transform the player's fortunes.
Whatever West Ham end up doing, they will need to do it fast. At present, they are five points from safety and need more goal scorers if they are to have any chance of beating the drop.
