Liverpool and Man City show interest in Jon Aramburu

Liverpool and Manchester City are both reportedly interested in Real Sociedad right-back Jon Aramburu as both clubs look for solutions to a problem position.

Liverpool have failed to replace Trent Alexander-Arnold over the past couple of seasons, while Man City are still operating with Matheus Nunez, a recognised midfielder, at right-back.

According to TEAMtalk, Liverpool are leading the race for Aramburu's signature after receiving hugely positive scouting reports on the 24-year-old.

The Venezuela international reportedly has a release clause of around £50m, which could be triggered this winter.

Viktor Gyokeres linked with move away from Arsenal

Viktor Gyokeres's time at Arsenal could reportedly be nearing its end, with the Swedish striker considering his options after being frozen out during the early weeks of the new season.

Gyokeres, who scored more than 20 goals for Arsenal last season, has yet to start a Premier League match this season and could be moved on in January.

According to Ekrem Konur, the former Sporting Lisbon man is attracting interest from Juventus and AC Milan in Italy, as well as several Saudi Pro League clubs.

Arsenal would reportedly sanction a move, provided they can secure a replacement first.

Liverpool are keeping tabs on Tyrick Mitchell

Liverpool are reportedly keeping a close eye on Crystal Palace left-back Tyrick Mitchell as the club continues its search to replace Andy Robertson.

Milos Kerkez was brought in back in 2025 but has been a disappointment, while Kostas Tsimikas is not at the required level to be a regular for Liverpool.

According to Ekrem Konur, Liverpool believe a bargain can be had with Mitchell, as his contract at Selhurst Park expires next summer. As a result, the Reds could either bring him in on the cheap this January, or sign him as a free agent in the summer.

Crystal Palace are said to be keen to provide Mitchell with a new contract but interest from Liverpool could deter him.
