While Yan Diomande is out in North America representing Ivory Coast at the 2026 World Cup, Liverpool are battling for his signature according to the latest reports from the Liverpool Echo.

RB Leipzig are understood to have rejected an offer of £87m from the Reds, with the Bundesliga club pushing for a blockbuster nine-figure deal.

Liverpool are now considering an improved bid for the 19-year-old winger, though there is no shortage of competition from the likes of Paris Saint-Germain. 

Selling is not the only option for Leipzig, who are keen on keeping the teenager for another season, while also improving his wage packet and inserting a defined release clause. 

Bayern Munich take action amid Michael Olise interest

Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise has become one of the most sought after talents in world football, leaving the German giants with no option but to put together a new and improved contract.

According to the latest information from the Mirror, the Bundesliga powerhouse are drawing up a new deal for the Frenchman, which includes lucrative wage terms.

Bayern are hoping to fend off recent interest from Real Madrid and Liverpool, with both clubs seriously pondering a move for the Frenchman.

Olise’s current deal runs out in the summer of 2029, giving Bayern plenty of time to come up with a fresh offer. 

Leeds United set sights on Julian Brandt

Leeds United are putting their summer transfer plans into place, and one of the names on their radar is experienced German forward Julian Brandt.

According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, the Whites are interested in the 30-year-old free agent, who left Borussia Dortmund this summer.

Brandt missed out on the German World Cup squad this summer, with head coach Julian Nagelsmann preferring Jamal Musiala and Florian Wirtz in the playmaking position.

The German is not the only name on Leeds United’s watchlist, with the club also considering a move for Southampton’s midfielder Shea Charles, according to the Mail.
