Manchester United failed to sign a new left-back in the summer transfer window, despite being linked with a host of players.

The Red Devils have been linked with a move for Newcastle United defender Lewis Hall, and he has been a long-term target for INEOS.

Arsenal signed Christos Tzolis in the summer window from Club Brugge, but they were looking to add one more attacker to their ranks.

The Gunners have been linked with Morgan Rogers, Vinicius Junior, and Julian Alvarez this summer, but none arrived.

According to reports, Arsenal made an enquiry about Kevin Schade this summer, as the winger emerged as a major option for the Gunners.

Schade was firmly on Arsenal’s list as they assessed attacking options, and it will be interesting to see if they revisit the plans in January.
