Despite already making two major transfers this winter, Manchester City look as if they need plenty more before the window shuts after a truly dismal performance in Norway on Tuesday night.

While any further moves are unlikely at the Etihad Stadium, there are plenty of other clubs in the Premier League who are expected to complete a deal or two before deadline day on Monday, 2 February.

For all the latest transfer rumours, check out today's biggest headlines below.

Manchester United have reportedly been offered the chance to sign Ruben Loftus-Cheek from AC Milan as the Red Devils step up their pursuit of a new midfielder.

According to TalkSport, the former Chelsea midfielder is keen to return to the Premier League and would be more than happy to make the move to Old Trafford if the two clubs can agree a deal.

At this point, there is no indication that Manchester United will take the bait, but the club are desperate for midfield reinforcements, so a move has not been fully ruled out.

The same TalkSport report also states that Wilfried Ndidi has been offered to Man Utd, but the club have rejected the opportunity to sign the former Leicester City man.

Harry Wilson is set to be at the centre of a transfer tussle this winter as a host of clubs are interested in pursuing a deal for the 28-year-old.

The latest two clubs to be linked with a move for Wilson are Everton and Crystal Palace. Both clubs are looking to secure a deal this month at a reduced fee as the Welsh international's contract at Craven Cottage is set to expire in the summer.

Wilson is currently in the form of his life, and his recent performances for Fulham were always going to attract attention from elsewhere, particularly as his contract situation is currently very fragile.

Of the two clubs currently most interested in the former Liverpool man, a move to Crystal Palace arguably makes the most sense due to the potential sale of Jean-Philippe Mateta

Speaking of Mateta, there is now every chance that the Frenchman will depart Crystal Palace this winter, with Juventus and Aston Villa both pushing hard for his signature.

According to a report from the reputable Fabrizio Romano on X, Mateta has informed Crystal Palace that he wants to leave the club this month, which could lead to a hectic ten days at Selhurst Park.

The 28-year-old is now said to be in direct talks with both Juventus and Aston Villa, and once personal terms are agreed, it will be up to his chosen club to agree a fee with the Eagles.

If Mateta does depart this month, then Crystal Palace have an almighty task on their hands to replace not just their first-choice centre forward, but also their former captain, Marc Guehi.
