While Arsenal continue to explore reinforcements to strengthen Mikel Arteta’s title‑winning squad, the possibility of outgoings is also becoming more apparent.

Gabriel Martinelli is one Gunners star facing an uncertain future at the Emirates, with journalist Florian Plettenburg reporting that Turkish giants Galatasaray have lodged a formal bid for the winger.

The Super Lig side are understood to have tabled a £38 million offer for the Brazil international and regard him as their “top transfer priority” this summer.

For now, Arsenal’s stance remains unclear – whether they are tempted by the proposal, intend to hold out for a higher fee, or prefer to keep Martinelli as the new campaign approaches in less than ten days.

Newcastle consider Carlos Baleba move

Newcastle United remain in urgent need of midfield reinforcements following the big-money departures of Sandro Tonali and Bruno Guimarães in recent weeks.

The Magpies are now reportedly weighing up a move for Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Carlos Baleba as they look to plug that gap, though there are complications around any potential deal.

New head coach Mattias Jaissle is understood to be a strong admirer of the Cameroon international, who has previously attracted serious interest from Manchester United.

However, the 22‑year‑old is currently sidelined with an injury, casting doubt over whether Newcastle will push ahead and complete a transfer before the deadline in three weeks’ time.

Chelsea target quick Enzo Fernandez replacement

Chelsea have made it clear to Manchester City that any deal for Enzo Fernández must be concluded this week, and preparations are already underway to secure a replacement should he depart.

According to reports, the Blues are planning for the Argentina international to leave by Friday’s close of play, with young English duo Alex Scott and Adam Wharton emerging as leading options.

Bournemouth remain determined to keep Scott and have already rebuffed previous interest, while Crystal Palace may demand players in return for Wharton, with Axel Disasi among those mentioned.

Arsenal’s Martín Zubimendi is also admired, but clarity is expected within the next 24 hours.

New Chelsea boss Xabi Alonso still views Fernandez as central to his plans, yet City will need to meet the £100 million valuation to prevent the club from moving ahead with alternatives.
