The transfer news space is starting to get busy as we approach the summer window, leaving us no choice but to take a closer look at some of the latest transfer news today.

One of the biggest stories of the day comes from Old Trafford, with a huge European club joining the race to sign Marcus Rashford.

Elsewhere, last month’s Champions League winner could be about to swap Ligue 1 for the Premier League, with both Arsenal and Liverpool looking to seal the deal.

Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain are not opposed to selling French forward Bradley Barcola, according to a report by L’Equipe.

Premier League heavyweights Arsenal and Liverpool are among the leading contenders for the 23-year-old’s signature, though there is a long way to go before a deal can be reached.

With just two years left on his contract, PSG tried to agree a contract extension with the forward, though talks between both parties have reportedly stalled.

With that in mind, the Parisians are now looking to cash in on the French star and they are expecting a sum in the region of £50m to £60m.

Bayern Munich are not only set to rival Barcelona in the race for Marcus Rashford, but the Bundesliga outfit is expected to come out on top according to the latest report from Fichajes.

Rashford spent the previous season on loan at Barcelona, and the Catalans giants did have an option to turn the loan into a permanent move for £26m.

Barca’s dilly-dallying has opened the door for Bayern Munich, with the German outfit now moving into pole position for the England international.

Bayern are hoping to strike a deal for around £21m, though they are still some distance away from Manchester United’s minimal expectations of £25m.

Former Barcelona and Bayern Munich superstar Robert Lewandowski is close to completing a move to MLS side Chicago Fire, according to Yahoo Sports.

Reports suggest that the American club has been targeting the Polish striker since last season, and they are hopeful of signing a contract until 2029.

Chicago will embark on a high-profile move to a brand new stadium in 2028, and the club’s hierarchy are hoping to put together a squad that matches the quality of the new McDonald’s Park.

Reports have suggested that the club are looking to make Lewandowski a poster boy for the new project, similar to Inter Miami’s relationship with Lionel Messi.
