Manchester City’s pursuit of a new right-back continues with the Citizens outlining Brentford’s Michael Kayode as their preferred target, according to CaughtOffside.

Tino Livramento, Pedro Porro, Nahuel Molina and Ivan Fresneda are just some of the names that have been linked with Pep Guardiola’s side in recent weeks, though it is Kayode who remains a top target.

The 21-year-old joined the Bees from Fiorentina last summer for just £15m, and he has flourished in the Premier League, starting every game in the competition.

The Italian is under contract with the London club until the summer of 2030, though Man City are confident of bringing the player to the Etihad for a cool £35m.

The race to sign Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi is beginning to seriously heat up after Arsenal became the latest club to throw their name into the mix, according to the Mirror.

Manchester City remain favoruites to get the deal over the line, though the media report claims that Arsenal, Liverpool and Bayern Munich are still hopeful of snatching the transfer.

The 25-year-old becomes a free agent this summer, leaving all the interested parties pondering whether to make a move now, or risk losing Guehi to a rival club before his contract runs out.

Liverpool already had a £35m accepted last summer, though the deal collapsed on deadline day. Media reports suggest that City are willing to throw the same type of cash at Guehi this January.

Chelsea and PSG battle for Antonio Rudiger

According to latest information from CaughtOffside, Real Madrid are willing to sell defender Antonio Rudiger this winter for as little as £10m, with Chelsea and PSG both showing interest.

The 32-year-old will be out of contract in the summer, and Los Blancos are hoping to recoup some of their original investment by selling the player in January.

The German centre-back previously enjoyed five successful seasons at Stamford Bridge, playing over 200 matches across all competitions and winning the Champions League.

Signing Rudiger would provide the blues with some much-needed experience in the team, while the price would also mark a relatively cheap deal. However, PSG are also fighting for his signature, meaning the end price could be bigger than first anticipated.
