Big news emerged earlier in the week as AFC Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott turned down a new contract, offering a boost to Arsenal.

The Premier League champions are among several clubs tracking the 22‑year‑old ahead of the summer window, with Manchester United also interested, per reports.

Despite that, Bournemouth are understood to be unwilling to sanction a sale, either now or before his deal runs out in 2028, meaning no formal asking price has been set.

Scott has previously been mooted with a £60 million valuation, and you’d imagine a strong bid from Arsenal could still test the Cherries’ resolve.

Nottingham Forest in advanced Ousmane Dembele talks

Nottingham Forest are under new management with Oliver Glasner at the helm, and they appear set to make their first major move of the window.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the Tricky Trees are in ‘advanced talks' to sign Sporting CP and Ivory Coast centre-back Ousmane Diomande.

It’s reported that discussions are ongoing between Forest and the 22‑year‑old’s camp as they explore a possible deal.

The renowned transfer expert has not disclosed a fee, though previous reports have indicated that Diomande’s contract includes a £68 million release clause.

Where will Marcus Rashford end up?

The future of Marcus Rashford at Manchester United is set to be one of the major talking points as the summer transfer window enters its latter stages.

And now, reports suggest that three London clubs are interested in the forward, though the United hierarchy remain reluctant to let him join a domestic rival.

The likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are considering a move for the 28-year-old, who will now take some time off after England's World Cup campaign.

Rashford impressed during a successful loan spell at Barcelona last season and is also attracting interest from Turkey, with Fenerbahce and Galatasaray both keen.
