Liverpool target Ousmane Diomande

Liverpool's defensive frailties have been well-documented this season, and the expectation is that they will attempt to sign a new centre-back in the January transfer window.
While Marc Guehi is reportedly their number one target, the Reds have been linked with a move for another defender today, with Ousamne Diomande reportedly well-liked by the hierarchy at Anfield.
According to a report in the Daily Express, Diomande is the man that Liverpool plan to pursue if a deal for Guehi gets away from them. The Crystal Palace defender is reportedly attracting interest from several big European clubs, meaning a move to Liverpool is no longer considered a foregone conclusion.
Diomande, the club's reported back-up option, is considered one of the best young defenders in world football and has a release clause of £68m.
Manchester City consider a move for Arda Guler

Real Madrid midfielder Arda Guler could be on the move in the coming months, with Manchester City reportedly interested in bringing him to the Etihad Stadium.
According to Defensa Central, a Spanish publication with close ties to Real Madrid, Pep Guardiola is a big fan of the player and wants Man City to test Real Madrid's resolve.
However, the report goes on to state that the Real Madrid board consider Guler to be unsellable at any price, and the expectation is that he will become a key player for Xabi Alonso at the Bernabeu.
Guler signed for Real Madrid in 2023, but has only managed to become a regular in the starting XI this season. It's unclear whether the Turkish international would be interested in a move away from the Spanish capital at this stage of his career.
Samu Omorodion a target for Chelsea

FC Porto striker Samu Omorodion is reportedly a top target for Chelsea, with the former Atletico Madrid man expected to be a man in demand next summer.
According to a report in the Spanish publication Fichajes, the Blues are willing to spend more than £86m to secure Omorodion in the summer.
A big-money move by Chelsea for a striker would perhaps come as a surprise to many, given that they spent £90m combined on Liam Delap and Joao Pedro in the summer.
On the other hand, the opportunity to bring in a player of Omorodion's ability and age would be difficult to refuse. The 21-year-old scored 25 goals in all competitions for Porto during his first season at the club last year.
