Manchester City have been put in the driving seat to land coveted Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson this summer.
With close rivals Manchester United and the likes of Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur keen on the England international, it appears he has already made his decision.
Reports now claim the 23-year-old has a ‘desire' to join Pep Guardiola's side at the Etihad Stadium at the end of the season.
That puts City as the front-runners to seal his signature, with Anderson expected to command a fee in the region of £80 million.

It appears that Arsenal are keen to add a young defender to their ranks this summer, and a new name has emerged on their radar, per reports.
It's believed that the Gunners hold a ‘growing interest' in Como centre-back Jacobo Ramon, who has impressed scouts under former Arsenal favourite Cesc Fabregas this season.
The 21-year-old joined from Real Madrid last summer, and it's important to note that they do hold a buy-back clause, so interest from the Premier League could see them act sooner than expected.
Chelsea are also mentioned as a team monitoring the situation, with Ramon currently valued at around £15 million.
Dortmund plot third move for Man Utd flop Jadon Sancho

Jadon Sancho is set to finally leave Manchester United this summer, with Borussia Dortmund very keen to bring him back to the Bundesliga.
The Telegraph claim the German outfit are weighing up a ‘third' bid for the 26-year-old, who is unlikely to remain at current loan club Aston Villa past the current campaign.
Sancho is out of contract and Dortmund are keen to re-sign him, nine years after they first snagged him from Man City's academy.
He would go on to join Old Trafford in a £73 million deal in 2021, but it has never worked out, with the winger costing around £6 million per goal.
