Andorra vs Kosovo: Everything you need to know

We're bringing you our Euro 2024 predictions for Andorra vs Kosovo live from the Estadi Nacional, Andorra la Vella. Andorra might be the whipping boys of Group I but Kosovo and Belarus only have two more points on the board than the minnows. One of Andorra's 2pts arrived when these two nations clashed back in March and with the home advantage this time around, Andorra will be looking to cause another upset.

  • These two sides played out a 1-1 draw in March's reverse Group I fixture.
  • Andorra have drawn two of their last five matches in all competitions.
  • Four of Kosovo's last six matches have ended in stalemates.

Under 2.5 Goals

  • Under 2.5 goals were produced when these two teams last locked horns.
  • Three of Andorra's last six matches in all competitions have ended with fewer than three goals being scored.
  • Four of Kosovo's last six matches have produced under 2.5 goals and top scorer Muriqi is suspended for this game.

Andorra vs Kosovo Lineups and Last Match

Andorra slipped to an unsurprising 3-0 defeat away at Switzerland in their last Euro 2024 qualifier. Switzerland probably could have won by a great margin if not for some poor finishing but goals from Itten, Xhaka and Shaqiri proved enough to seal the points in the second-half. Rubio and Vieira both miss out on the latest Andorra quad but there is a tone of experience in the side nevertheless.

Predicted Lineup – Álvarez (GK), Lima, Valés, San Nicolás, Rebés, Llovera, Cervós, Alavedra, Guillén, García & Vales

Kosovo went down 2-0 in Romania in their last game and to make matters worse, the visitors lost their main striker Muriqi to a red card just before the break and he will now miss the game against Andorra. Defenders Paqarada and Rrahmani have not been selected this week and Valon Berisha also misses out.

Predicted Lineup – Murić (GK), Aliti, Hadergjonaj, Fazliji, Vojvoda, Muslija, Berisha, Rashica, Loshaj, Zhegrova & Rashani

Player to Watch: Elbasan Rashani

It will be interesting to see how Elbasan Rashani performs if he gets the nod to start upfront either alone or alongside Albion Rrahmani in this game as Kosovo captain and top scorer Vedat Muriqi misses out through suspension.

Rashani has scored 5-goals in 24 caps for his country and the 30-year-old has been in good form for his club side Clermont this season, netting 4-goals in six appearances. Kosovo struggled against Andorra last time out and we expect this game to prove even more tricky but on paper, the visitors have the better squad of player, more talent and more goals so should really be winning the match comfortably.
