Kortrijk preview: Just survived last season
Kortrijk came through the Promotion/Relegation play-off to book their place back in the First Division A this season.
Kortrijk won both legs against Lommel with an aggregate scoreline of 5-2 and their aim for the upcoming campaign has to be avoiding a relegation battle.
However, goals were a big issue for Kortrijk last season, scoring just 22 times in their opening 30 league games

Player to watch – Tarik Tissoudali
Tissoudali is about to undergo his fifth campaign with Gent after making the move from fellow Belgian side Beerschot in 2021.
The 31-year-old has struggled with injuries during his time at Gent but when he has managed to complete a full season, the goals have flowed.
The Moroccan scored 15 times in the league last season
Tissoudali scored 21 times in 34 league games during the 2021/22 campaign and netted 15 times in 35 games last season, while his first season with the club yielded five goals from 14 appearances and the 2022/23 campaign produced just two goals from 12 games.
