Just two points and two positions separate 14th-placed Kalmar from Brommapojkarna in 12th and we're expecting Sunday's game between the pair to be tight and tense throughout.

Kalmar preview: Returned to winning ways last weekend

Kalmar took advantage of AIK's poor run of form when the pair met at the Friends Arena in Solna last time out.

Jacob Trenskow scored his fifth goal of the campaign to put Kalmar 1-0 up in the first half but AIK equalised just after the hour mark.

Kalmar secured the three points in the 75th minute when Robert Gojani scored his first-ever league goal for the club.

Predicted lineup: Brolin (GK), Sætra, Gersbach, Osuji, Gojani, Hallberg, Magashy, Ring, Islamović, Skrabb & Trenskow

Brommapojkarna preview: Drawn three of last four on the road

Brommapojkarna were played off the field in their last game away at Elfsborg.

The home side took the lead on the half-hour mark and went on to win the game 3-0 as the Brommapojkarna defence conceded twice inside the final ten minutes.

Those results mean that Kalmar have closed the gap on Brommapojkarna to just two points and would move ahead of their guests with a win on Sunday.

Predicted lineup: Sidklev (GK), Björkander, Abrahamsson, Fritzson, Christensen, Jensen, Odefalk, Vasić, Irandust, Timossi Andersson & Jakobsen

Player to watch – Nikola Vasic

Nikola Vasic is enjoying his third season with Brommapojkarna where he has scored 23 league goals over the last three seasons.

Vasic has only spent one season outside of Sweden when he played for Italian side Reggina during the 2020/21 campaign, featuring eight times in Serie B but failing to score a single goal.

The Brommapojkarna striker has been in good form this season

The 32-year-old scored 11 times as Brommapojkarna earned promotion to the Allsvenskan in 2022 but only managed to score five times in Sweden's top flight last year.

However, the former Vasalund striker has netted seven times in 12 starts in 2024 and we're backing him to score against Kalmar this weekend.
