Juventus vs Manchester City prediction: All square in thrilling affair?
Key stats
- Juventus are unbeaten in seven games in total across all competitions.
- City have only lost once in their last 15 matches in all competitions.
- Juventus and City have scored nine and eight goals respectively at the CWC so far, with only Bayern Munich scoring more (12).
Correct score prediction: Juventus 2-2 Manchester City
Both teams will be confident of securing a positive result as they are both enjoying four-game winning streaks in all competitions. This suggests that they could be fairly evenly matched, and given how free-scoring they have been of late as well, we can expect plenty of goals in this one.

While City arguably have a bigger pedigree than Juventus and look difficult to stop at the moment, their past vulnerabilities in the campaign could still creep up on them. Juventus will be full of confidence in the form that they are in, and so their odds provided by bookmakers do offer some temptation.

Most recent H2Hs: Juventus hold all the cards
Juventus perhaps boast a surprisingly great recent H2H record against City too, having won the previous three meetings in all competitions including a recent 2-0 victory in the UEFA Champions League (UCL) in November. The Old Lady's unbeaten run also stretches to a total of five matches.

Player to watch: Tijjani Reijnders
Juventus will come up against a familiar name in the City side in Tijjani Reijndrs. Indeed, the Netherlands international moved to the Etihad Stadium this summer from Juve's Serie A rivals AC Milan.
Reijnders made his City debut in their opening game of the group stage at the CWC, as they beat Wydad 2-0. Before then, he had racked up an impressive 15 goals and five assists from midfield in all competitions for Milan, and is certainly a player that Juventus will have to be wary of.
