International football boosted odds: Jude Bellingham to score from outside the box vs Brazil now just 20/1

In the modern age, fans like to moan about international breaks. Often, they’re right. National sides are rarely at the same level as the elite clubs, and games can often feel like dead rubbers.

But as our international football boosted odds picks compiled here show, this international break might just buck that trend. The remaining EURO 2024 playoff qualifiers mean everything to their competitors, and there are top one-off clashes. The likes of England vs Brazil and France vs Germany are always tantalising.

2+ Goals In Each Of Thursday's 6 European Championship Qualification Matches – 6/1

Competing for the remaining three spots in the new and expanded EURO 2024 format are 12 sides, who play the first of a two-legged semi-final tomorrow.

Many of these games are between similarly strong nations, where both sides will likely score. In this group we include Wales vs Finland, Bosnia and Herzegovina vs Ukraine, Israel vs Iceland and Georgia vs Luxembourg.

There are two games where we expect the home side to put their visitors to the sword. Poland vs Estonia, where we expect Robert Lewandowski and co to put at least two past their qualification rivals, and Greece vs Kazakhstan, where a similar outcome is to be expected.

Brennan Johnson to score, Wales to win & BTTS – 9/1

Sticking with the playoffs, Wales are looking to qualify for their third European Championships in a row.

Key to that ambition will be Brennan Johnson. The Spurs forward is one of Wales’ most talented players and biggest potential goal threats, even if he hasn’t always been the most prolific in a red shirt. The 22-year-old has two goals and two assists comes in his last four Spurs appearances, despite only starting two.

If Johnson gets on the scoresheet, this accumulator could prove very profitable.

Cody Gakpo to score from outside the box vs Scotland – 8/1

Despite averaging a solid 0.58 goals and assists per 90 minutes in a Liverpool shirt, just over a year on from his move from PSV Eindhoven, 24-year-old Dutch forward Cody Gakpo has come under criticism in recent weeks.

Former Red Jamie Carragher hung the Dutchman out to dry on Twitter after Liverpool’s loss to arch-rivals Manchester United in the FA Cup, saying “Gakpo plays like the game is in slow motion.”

Harsh words. Especially given that Liverpool scored three goals – which should be enough to win any game.

Gakpo has always performed well in Oranje, and turned heads with a goal from outside the box at the 2022 World Cup. This game against Scotland is a great opportunity for Gakpo to prove his doubters wrong.

Niclas Fullkrug to score a header vs France – 14/1

The archetypal late bloomer, Niclas Fullkrug has had a solid first season at Borussia Dortmund, scoring 11 and assisting eight as a classic target man.

Fullkrug is physically powerful and is capable in the air. With the likes of Kimmich, Wirtz, Sane, Kroos and Musiala whipping the ball into the France penalty area, 14/1 is an excellent price boost for the 31-year-old to score with his head.

Jude Bellingham to score from outside the box vs Brazil – 20/1

What is there to say about Jude Bellingham that has not already been said? The Englishman was already rated very highly during his time at Borussia Dortmund, but has exceeded even the wildest expectation of him since his move to Real Madrid.

With over two months of the season left to play, Bellingham already has 20 goals and nine assists for Los Blancos, and has the all-round performances to match.

Bellingham has made a habit of scoring crucial goals on the biggest stage for Real, most significantly his thunderbolt from range against Barcelona.

The 20-year-old will relish the chance to play against the most storied international side in the world in Brazil, and would love to score from distance against the Samba stars.
