Which side is likely to be the Illan Meslier next club and what are the odds of him joining? Find out more here.
Leeds United are certainly going through a tough transitional period this summer. After spending big last season and then getting relegated to the Championship, an overhaul of players is underway at Elland Road.
One of the few first-team regulars still at the club is goalkeeper Illan Meslier. The France U21 international had a really rough end to last season and eventually lost his place in the first team when interim boss Sam Allardyce took over.
Still only 23, Meslier has great potential and many positive years ahead of him, and that is seen by the reported interest in his services from some big clubs.
With Leeds fans desperately hoping to bounce straight back to the Premier League next season, keeping hold of a player like Meslier would be crucial.
For now, let’s take a look at some of the latest transfer odds surrounding the Leeds shot stopper.

Illan Meslier next club

Chelsea @ 15/8 (2.88) Odds
The West London club are favourites with the bookmakers to sign Meslier this summer. Chelsea are linked to yet another goalkeeper as they go through a summer of transition themselves, albeit one that is very different to that of Leeds.
However, the quality of the Premier League these days means clubs are all eager to have two quality goalkeeping options.
Meslier could provide Chelsea with a youthful competitor to Kepa, and despite the Spaniard not necessarily reaching the heights of his potential, Chelsea are a club that have produced some of the best goalkeepers in Premier League history.
Blues owner Todd Boehly certainly has the money to make this deal happen, but it would all depend on Leeds finding a suitable replacement, with their Championship campaign starting on Sunday 6th August.
Manchester United @ 7/2 (4.5) Odds
Erik Ten Hag has seemingly got his man with the signing of goalkeeper Andre Onana after the departure of long-term number one David De Gea.
Manchester United also still have Dean Henderson at the club, but with many clubs looking to sign him, Meslier could be a viable option.
It seems Meslier would be accepting the role as number two goalkeeper, but to move to a club like United would be amazing for his career.
This move would really be dependent on Henderson leaving the club, and for that reason, could be a move more likely to happen in the January window now that we are so close to the return of the domestic league season.
Tottenham @ 15/2 (8.5) Odds
By Icon SportSpurs are still preparing for the inevitable departure of club legend Hugo Lloris, with the bookmakers seeing Leeds’ fellow French keeper as a potential replacement.
Meslier would be making a huge leap and after his confidence was knocked so much at the end of last season, there would be a lot of pressure on his shoulders at a club like Spurs.
However, Aaron Ramsdale’s move to Arsenal is a positive example that a move of this caliber can be a success. Relegation does not define a player and the clubs interested in Meslier are a showcase of that.
Of course the option Leeds fans would love is to keep Meslier at Elland Road, and with no exit likely to be completed before the Championship season starts, Meslier will at the very least, start the season as a Leeds United player.
