Hull to win

Luton have been poor on the road this season, losing 15 of their 19 away games in the Championship.

Hull City will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to five matches when they play host to fellow relegation-battlers Luton in one of Saturday's early kick-offs in the Championship.

Hull vs Luton prediction: A home win on the cards?

Key Stats

  • Hull are unbeaten in their last four matches, picking up two wins at home and two draws on the road.
  • Under 2.5 goals have been produced in 63% of Hull's home games in the league this season.
  • 53% of Luton's matches in the Championship this season have featured fewer than three goals.

Correct score prediction: Hull 1-0 Luton

While we expect Hull to claim all three points on Saturday, we expect the match against Luton to be tight and tense throughout. Hull only score an average of 1.11 goals per home game but the hosts are conceding an average of just 0.95 goals which is why we've backed a 1-0 win in their favour.

Pre-game odds and win probability: Hull the bookmaker's pick

  • HOME: 6/5 (2.20) – 45.5%
  • DRAW: 12/5 (3.40) – 29.4%
  • AWAY: 47/18 (3.61) – 27.7%

Hull preview: Unbeaten in last four

Hull made the trip to play-off hopefuls West Brom before the international break and managed to come away with a share of the spoils.

The Baggies took the lead in the 67th minute but Hull responded well and got back onto level terms with 11 minutes left on the clock thanks to a goal from substitute Abu Kamara.

Saturday's hosts could be without the services of Abdulkadir Omur, Dogukan Sinik, Eliot Matazo, Louie Barry, Mohamed Belloumi and Liam Millar for the Luton game due to injury.

Predicted lineup: Pandur (GK), Coyle, Jones, McLoughlin, Hughes, Crooks, Alzate, Slater, Gelhardt, Joseph & Kamara

Luton preview: Held at home by Boro

Luton had been looking to build upon their excellent away win against Cardiff by securing all three points at home against Middlesbrough last time out.

However, this game won't live long in the memory of either set of fans as the Hatters and Boro played out a goalless draw at Kenilworth Road.

Marvelous Nakamba, Jacob Brown, Tom Lockyer and Teden Mengi have all been ruled out of the trip to Hull this weekend.

Predicted lineup: Kaminski (GK), Bell, McGuinness, Makosso, Clark, Walsh, Doughty, Aasgaard, Morris, Adebayo & Jones

Player to watch: Abu Kamara

Hull City signed Abu Kamara from Norwich in the summer and the young forward has put in some very impressive performances this season.

The 21-year-old has featured in 28 league games this season, chipping in with four goals and three assists, making him one of Hull's key players in the final third.

Kamara has seven goal involvements in the Championship

Kamara came off the bench in Hull's last game to score an important equalising goal and we're backing the young forward to start and impress against Luton this weekend.
