Having won promotion via the Championship play-offs, Hull have perhaps started the Premier League season better than some expected.
The Tigers have picked up a respectable 10 points from eight games so far, and sit in 10th place.
They are also unbeaten on home soil (W1, D3), and Sergej Jakirovic will look to use that to his team's advantage.
Hull will also welcome back Nobel Mendy, Oli McBurnie and Lewie Coyle from injury, so they will be able to field a strong team.
Ipswich appear to have no fresh concerns themselves, so should also be able to field a competitive side.
The Tractor Boys were also promoted with Hull, and also stand on 10 points after eight matches.
Gary O'Neil is doing well considering he had big shoes to fill in Kieran McKenna's, but there is one standout thing he needs his team to improve on.
Ipswich, alongside Manchester United, are the only teams in the league yet to keep a clean sheet, and their record of 16 goals conceded is among the worst in the division.

Whispers predicts: Hull City 1-1 Ipswich Town
Hull are slight 17/10 (2.70) favourites with bookies, but given their winless run, we fancy Ipswich to get a result.
The Draw at 5/2 (3.50) appeals, while BTTS – Yes at 7/10 (1.70) reflect the fact both teams have been vulnerable defensively in recent matches.
In terms of potential goalscorers, Mohamed Belloumi has netted three league goals for Hull, two more than any of his teammates, so Belloumi to score anytime at 3/1 (4.00) is our final pick.
Overall, we are predicting a 1-1 draw, which is available at 13/2 (7.50). Use our Betano promo code to explore other bets.
