Rangers to win to nil

Rangers have won each of their last three league matches without conceding a goal.

Hibernian will take on Rangers this weekend as part of another huge weekend in the Scottish Premiership title race.

Rangers moved up to second place last weekend and are now just four points behind the league leaders, Hearts. A win here could see them move to within one victory of the summit.

As part of this week's round of Scottish Premiership betting tips, here is our Hibernian vs Rangers prediction.

Hibernian vs Rangers prediction: Light work for Gers

Key Stats

  • Rangers have won five of their last six matches in all competitions to nil.
  • Hibernian have failed to win any of their last three matches in all competitions.
  • Fewer than three goals have been scored in two of Rangers' last three league matches.

Correct score prediction: Hibernian 0-2 Rangers

After playing their final Europa League match of the season on Thursday, Rangers can now focus all their energy on the Scottish Premiership. Momentum is firmly on their side and they should breeze past a struggling Hibs side that lost 4-1 to Falkirk last weekend.

Pre-game odds and win probability: Superb value on a Rangers win

  • HOME: 2/1 (3.00) – 33.3%
  • DRAW: 13/5 (3.60) – 27.8%
  • AWAY: 6/5 (2.200) – 45.5%

*odds from Ladbrokes, subject to change

The Hibernian vs Rangers are slightly odd in that the visitors have been priced odds-against despite the form guide suggesting that they should be going off as overwhelming favourites. Ladbrokes have given Hibernian a 33.3% chance of winning the match, while Rangers have been given a 45.5% chance of victory.

Hibernian preview: Changes are expected

Following their humiliating defeat to Falkirk last weekend, it would be a shock if the same starting XI featured against Rangers. Josh Campbell and Josh Mulligan are both out through injury, while Kieron Bowie has completed a move to Hellas Verona.

Predicted lineup: Sallinger (GK), Kiranga, Hanley, Iredale, Molotnikov, Chaiwa, Levitt, Obita, McGrath, Boyle, Youan

Last five results

  • Falkirk 4-1 Hibernian
  • Dunfermline 1-0 Hibernian
  • Hibernian 1-1 Motherwell
  • Kilmarock 1-3 Hibernian
  • Hibernian 2-0 Aberdeen

Rangers preview: Back to domestic duties

Danny Rohl made changes to his Rangers XI for the trip to Porto, but he is expected to revert back to the same side that beat Dundee 3-0 last weekend. Rohl is still missing Bailey Rice, Derek Cornelius, Dujon Sterling and Connor Barron due to injury problems.

Predicted lineup: Butland (GK), Tavernier, Djiga, Fernandez, Meghoma, Raskin, Chukwuani, Skov Olsen, Aasgaard, Moore, Miovski

Last five results

  • Porto 3-1 Rangers
  • Rangers 3-0 Dundee
  • Rangers 1-0 Ludogorets
  • Rangers 5-0 Annan
  • Abredeen 0-2 Rangers

Player to watch: Mikey Moore

Mikey Moore's loan spell at Rangers has not gone as well as many people had hoped, but there is still plenty of time for the 18-year-old to show why he arrived at Ibrox with a big reputation behind him. With just three league goals to his name so far, he will still feel he can reach double digits.
