Scottish football has rarely been as exciting as it has been this season, and that is almost entirely down to Hearts and their bid to become the first team since Aberdeen in 1985 to break the Old Firm dominance.

The Jam Tarts have certainly ridden their luck at times in recent months, but they remain at the summit as we enter the final four matches, and they know that ten points from these final four games will secure them the title.

Last weekend, they came from behind to beat their Edinburgh rivals, Hibernian, away from home. Derek McInnes' side were helped on their way by two Hibs red cards, but the manner of the victory should leave them with a bounce in their steps ahead of Monday's fixture.

Their remarkable season has been built on the back of their performances at Tynecastle. Zero defeats from 17 home league matches is some going and they will be desperate to finish the season unbeaten on home soil.

In terms of injuries, McInnes will be without Craig Gordon, Oisin McEntee, Tomas Magnusson, Calem Nieuwenhof, Ageu, Finlay Pollock and Cameron Devlin for the visit of Rangers, but Claudio Braga and Lawrence Shankland are both fit and raring to go.

As for Rangers, this is now do or die after a shock defeat at home to Motherwell last weekend left them trailing Hearts by four points. Although a defeat here wouldn't mathematically end their title hopes, even the most optimistic Rangers fan would concede the title on Monday night.

Danny Rohl, for all his good work in stabilising the club after a toxic start to the season under Russell Martin, will end the season trophyless if they don't win the title, and that usually lands Rangers managers in hot water.

Getting away from Ibrox could be a blessing for Rohl's side. Gers have the best away record in the league and have picked up seven from the last nine available on the road.

Rohl doesn't have as many injury absentees as his opposite number, but he will be without Tuur Rommens, Bailey Rice and Ryan Naderi.
