Gyori ETO travelled to Iceland for the first leg unbeaten in five matches across all competitions (W3, D2), but a late setback means they must now overturn a one-goal deficit on home soil.
The Hungarian side enjoyed a historic domestic campaign last season, winning the NB I title by one point ahead of Ferencvaros after ending the season strongly with a draw and two victories from their final three matches.
