Player to Watch: Cody Gakpo
The young Dutch winger joined Liverpool in January which was one of the surprising transfers of the winter period. He had a decent role in Jurgen Klopp's team by scoring seven goals and delivering three assists in 26 appearances. He was bought from PSV where he was a top performer in the Eredivisie.
Gakpo was raised in PSV's youth system, he played in virtually every team of the club's program and scored whenever he could. In total, while playing for the senior team, Gakpo accumulated 55 goals with 50 assists in 159 matches. He was also capped 16 times by the Netherlands national team scoring six goals.
