The market makers have given the Greeks a 75% chance of succeeding against a Kazakhstan side that were beaten in two of their last three tussles on the road. Our latest football predictions have also sided with Greece, while our team of experts have included plenty of international football angles of interest on our betting insights page.

Greece vs Kazakhstan prediction
Vangelis Pavlidis has been in excellent form at club level – Photo by Icon Sport

Player to watch – Vangelis Pavlidis

Vangelis Pavlidis has scored only six goals in 26 appearances for Greece, which is a disappointing return for such a good finisher, though the 25-year-old has a chance to write his name into Greek football folklore on Thursday.

Pavlidis in excellent form a club level

Pavlidis managed to rattle the net in each of his last two appearances at club level for AZ Alkmaar in the Eredivisie and the centre-forward has bagged nine goals in his last nine matches in the Netherlands overall. That impressive tally should ensure he has a kick in his step this week.
