While were are expecting Benfica to win and keep a clean sheet on Friday night, we aren't expecting any kind of goal-fest. The visitors score an average of 1.08 goals per away game and concede an average of 0.54 goals which is why we're backing a 1-0 correct score prediction in Benfica's favour.

Gil Vicente preview: Lost six of last seven
Gil Vicente had the home advantage against Santa Clara before the international break but failed to make it count.
The hosts dominated the overall possession stats and created a lot more goalscoring opportunities but Santa Clara scored one of their two shots on target to claim a 1-0 victory.
Friday's hosts have no fresh injury concerns for suspended players ahead of a tough game against Benfica.

Benfica preview: Won last six in the Primeira Liga
Benfica made it six league wins on the run away at Rio Ave last time out but were made to work hard for their three points.
A goal from Orkun Kokcu was all that separated the two clubs at the halfway point but Vangelis Pavlidis doubled Benfica's lead from the penalty spot in the 53rd minute. However, Rio Ave responded with two goals in the space of nine minutes to get back onto level terms and the visitors needed a late goal from Kerem Akturkoglu to win the game 3-2.
Casper Tengstedt, Tiago Gouveia, Angel Di Maria, Manu Silva and Alexander Bah could all miss the trip to Gil Vicente on Friday night due to injury.
Predicted lineup: Trubin (GK), Otamendi, Araujo, A. Silva, Fernández, Aursnes, Florentino, Kokcu, Bruma, Pavlidis & Amdouni

Player to watch: Vangelis Pavlidis
Vangelis Pavlidis made the move to Benfica in the summer following a very impressive campaign with AZ Alkmaar in the Eredivisie.

The Greek international striker scored 29 times in the league alone last season and since moving to Portugal he has found the back of the net ten times in 25 appearances in the Primeira Liga.
The Greek striker is in great form right now
Pavlidis failed to score during the international break but the Benfica front man has five goals in his last seven games for his club side and we're backing that run to continue against Rio Ave.
