Gibraltar, ranked 202nd in the world, take on 172nd-ranked Andorra in the UEFA Nations League on Sunday night, with the hosts kicking off their campaign while the visitors travel to Europa Point Stadium having already played.
Team 54 enter the weekend clash in some of the best form they have ever enjoyed after thrashing British Virgin Islands 4-0 and Cayman Islands 4-1 within the space of a few days back in June, before drawing 0-0 with Sao Tome and Principe on Wednesday.

Gibraltar began the 2024-25 Nations League already in League D, where they were in a three-team group containing San Marino and Liechtenstein.
While they scored just four goals in four group matches, they finished second and unbeaten after recording three draws and a win, with their sole victory coming against a San Marino side that sent shockwaves around the world of football themselves by topping the group.
The second-placed finish for Scott Wiseman's team was enough to give them a shot at promotion via the playoff route, however, 1-0 defeats home and away to Latvia condemned them to remain in the lowest tier of the competition.
While they enjoyed Nations League success last time out, they could not translate that into World Cup qualifying and unsurprisingly finished bottom, losing all eight of those games and conceding a huge 28 goals in the process.
More recently, however, Team 54 have had a better time of it at the back and in front of goal, winning two and drawing one of their last three to enter Sunday's game in a great run of form.
As for the visiting side, they make the 735-mile journey south having already got their 2026-27 Nations League campaign underway, suffering a narrow 2-1 defeat at home to Malta on Thursday night.
Andorra took the lead after 17 minutes through Guillaume Lopez, but they were unable to hold onto their advantage, with Malta completing the comeback by scoring the winner in the 81st minute through Teddy Teuma.
Ahead of Thursday's clash, Koldo Alvarez's side entered the match with just one win since October 2024, beating Liechtenstein 2-0 in a friendly at the start of June.
Like their upcoming opponents, Andorra were in League D during the 2024-25 version of the Nations League, but had far less joy.
With the Tricolors losing their opening three before drawing their final game against Malta, they finished bottom of Group 2 with a solitary point.
